Marion- Michael Aaron Reed, age 30, of Marion, passed away on Monday evening, April 20, 2015.

Michael was born in Memphis, Tennessee on September 19, 1984. He married Jacqueline Hyatt in Robinson, IL on February 25, 2013. At the time of his passing, Michael was engaged to Jacqueline Kahmke.

Survivors include his mother- Nina (Reed) Moore of Marion

Step-father- Patrick Moore of Covington, TN

Son- Skylar Reed of Springfield

Daughter- Madeline Reed of Springfield

Fiance- Jacqueline Kahmke of Marion

Brother- Christopher Reed of Marion

Brother- Timothy Moore of Covington, TN

Grandparents- Betty and Ray Grimm of Creal Springs

Grandparents- Benny and Linda Reed of Michigan

Former Spouse- Jacqueline Reed of Herrin

A time of visitation for family and friends will be held from 2-4pm on Sunday, April 26, 2015 at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the family. Envelopes will be available and accepted at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home; 800 N Market Street; Marion, IL 62959.

    My thoughts and prayers are with Michael’s mother, brother and children! I know he adored you all. I alway thought highly of Memphis because he was such a straight forward person, there was no beating around the bush from him! I know I will miss those occasional calls from him. He is now in a better place doing bigger and better things if I know him! The boys and Kyndra will miss him much! (He was Stephens buddy!) I pray that even though he is now gone from our presence physically that we know God has embraced Michael into His presence, I pray that the peace of knowing that will get you through this difficult time.
