Charles Micheal Stearns, 15, of Marion, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2015 at 12:17 am at Heartland Regional Medical Center.
Charles was born June 26, 1999 in Carbondale, the son of Warren Burke and Sarah Lea (Schott) Stearns.
Charles (Mikey to his family) loved reading, fishing, and playing Yugioh. He was a member of the Marion High School freshman wrestling team and Bass Fishing Team. He was planning on joining the Army and pursuing a career in the military after graduating high school. He attended Kincaid Christian Fellowship Church in Ava.

Funeral services will be Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 11 am at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Darrell Neathery officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday evening from 5 – 8 pm at the funeral home.
