Betty Jo Newbolds

Betty Jo Newbolds, 72, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2015 at 9:30 am at her home in Marion.

Betty was born July 15, 1943 in Williamson County the daughter of Andrew Jackson and Nora (Beasley) Benton. She was first married to Danny McKane, she later married Lawrence Roberts who preceded her in death. On March 25, 1997 she married Junior Newbolds and he preceded her in death on June 5, 2003.

She was a nurse’s aide at the Carrier Mills Nursing Home and she attended First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her;
Son – Danny McKane, Jr. of Marion
Grandson – Danny McKane III of Herrin

Preceded by her Parents, Husbands, Two Brothers – Andrew Jackson Benton, Jr.and John Benton.

Funeral services will be Friday, July 31, 2015 at 1 pm at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Daniels officiating. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 10:30 am until the time of service at the funeral home.

    Lord open your arms for this wonderful women. Miss Betty Boo is one of the sweetest persons I know. She will be missed by so many people,especially myself.I used to look forward to seeing her everyday she always brought a smile to my face and put me in a good mood when I didn’t feel well.Its a shame that she has to be taken away from us this world be a better place if we had more wonderful people like Miss Betty Boo!
