Rev. Randall “Randy” Keith Grace, age 63, of Herrin, passed away at 2:17pm on Monday, March 29, 2021 at Herrin Hospital.

Randall was born in Kingsport, Tennessee on July 9, 1957, the son of Sherman Lee and Betty Mae (Jones) Grace. He married Paula Hall in Eldorado on December 13, 1997. She survives.

Rev. Grace had retired from ministry. He was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Marion.

Survivors include his wife- Paula Grace of Herrin

Mother- Betty Mae Grace of Kingsport, Tennessee

Daughter- Allison Leigh Grace of Herrin

Daughter- Kimberly Seals of Knoxville, Tennessee

Brother- Danny and Valice Grace of Scranton, South Carolina

Sister- Christie McKinney of Kingsport, Tennessee

Sister- Deborah and Fred Staley of Boynton Beach, FL

Father-in-law and mother-in-law- Gene and Margaret Hall of Eldorado

Sister-in-law- Beth and Steve Hook of Henderson, Kentucky

He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral services will be held at 11am on Friday, April 2, 2021 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin with Rev. David Anderson and Rev. John Howard officiating. Burial will follow at Herrin City Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held from 5-7pm on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin.

For those who prefer, memorial donations may be made to the Marion Second Baptist Church. Envelopes will be available and accepted at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home; 201 S. 13th Street; Herrin, IL 62948.

    Prayers for your family. I grew up with Randy at Freewill Baptist Church in Kingsport, TN. His father Sherman was my Sunday School teacher for many years. His race is run and he’s home.
