Herrin- Mark James Kolbeck, age 62, of Marion, Illinois, passed away at 4:58pm on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Herrin Hospital.

Mark was born November 27, 1958 in Carbondale. He is the son of James and Marita (Hall) Kolbeck. He was Married to Julie Kolbeck for a short time until they divorced, but remained friends. More than anything, he loved his family. He will be dearly missed by all those that knew and loved him.

Survivors include-

Daughter- Aimee Kolbeck and husband Chip Loghry of Marion

Son- Dean Kolbeck and Jeni Meyers of Laveen, AZ

Father- James Kolbeck of Herrin

Brother- Michael Kolbeck of Wisconsin

Sister- Michelle Kolbeck of Herrin

Cousin- Belinda Hall of Colorado

Ex-wife- Julia Kolbeck of Laveen, AZ

Uncle- Buddy Hall and family

Friend- Margaret Lacheta of Marion

He was preceded in death by his mother, Marita (Hall) Kolbeck and brother, Martin Kolbeck.

As per Mr. Kolbeck’s wishes, he will be cremated. Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin is assisting the family with final arrangements.
