Fredia Dean Pickles, 86, of Cambria, passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 9:54 pm at Herrin Hospital.
Fredia was born September 3, 1935 in Herrin the daughter of Charles and Lucille (Bowman) Hammontre. She was married to Paul Cletus Pickles and he precedes her in death.
Fredia was a homemaker who enjoyed crossword puzzles and watching westerns on TV.
Survivors include her: Son – Donnie D. Pickles (Lori) of Royalton
Daughter – Pam S. Kulik (Tim)
Seven grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren
Sisters – Lorraine Samples of Herrin
Annette Holland of Cambria
Shirley Watson (Bud) of Johnston City
Preceded by her Parents, husband Paul Cletus Pickles, daughters Rose A. Taylor, Dianne L. Powell and son Cletus R. Pickles
Graveside services will be Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at 2 pm at Herrin City Cemetery with Rev. Don Colson officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet directly at the cemetery. Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin is assisting the family with arrangements.
For those who prefer memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Envelopes will be available the day of the service at the cemetery or at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home, 201 South 13th Street, Herrin, Illinois 62948.
