James R. Bauler

James R. Bauler, 78, of Benton, formerly of Marion, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2019 at 7:12 pm at Franklin Hospital in Benton.

James was born December 30, 1940 in Chicago the son of Raymond and Anna (Lar) Bauler.  He was married to Doris Spelack, she preceded him in death in 2006 and Angel Hopper who also preceded him.

He retired from Intell Corporation where he was a Site Supervisor.  James proudly answered the call to service his country in the United States Air Force.  He was a member of VFW Post #1303 and American Legion Post #147.

Survivors include nephew – Walter and Debbie Vickers of Marion and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded by his Parents and wives.

In accordance with his wishes James will be cremated and private services will be held.  Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements.

    Uncle jimmy was a great man. He came into my life pretty suddenly and left the same way. Still he made an incredible impression on myself and my siblings. We loved uncle jimmy and will always remember how great of an honor it was to be related to him. Thank you for evertthing uncle jimmy. I love you and youll be missed.
