Herrin-Mark Anthony Newbolds, 30, passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2016.

Mark was born on February 21, 1986 in Carbondale to Mark and Lecia (Profitt) Newbolds.

Mark loved life to the fullest, he enjoyed many things in life. He really enjoyed going to football games “Da Bears” with his dad. Mark loved to go out shooting with his dad and enjoyed bowling and working on his truck. He also loved being with his sisters and they shared so many moments together, ones that will never be forgotten. Mark loved watching Ghost Stories with his mother. He was looking forward to being Uncle Mark to his first nephew Kayden.

Parents-Mark and Lecia Newbolds of Herrin

Sisters-Tanya Newbolds Bevely (Keith) of Herrin and Tiffany Newbolds of Herrin

Soon to be born nephew Kayden

Maternal grandparents-Laverne and Marian Profitt of Herrin

Paternal grandmother-Vera Balaker of Herrin

Aunt and uncle-Sharon and Ray Colombo of Herrin and Diane and Steve Gottschalk of Cambria

Aunts-Jura Perkins of Carterville and Donna Thompson of Benton

Uncle-Tony Newbolds of Herrin

He was preceded in death by grandfather, William Newbolds and step grandfather, Bill Balaker

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 10, 2016 at 1pm at Johnson Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Don Colson officiating. Burial will follow at Egyptian Memorial Gardens. Visitation will also be on Friday from 11am until the time of service at the funeral home.
