Herrin- Heather (Boots) Whitecotton, age 42, of Herrin, passed away suddenly on Friday morning, February 12, 2015 at Herrin Hospital.
Heather was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina, the daughter of Phillip and Sandra Kay (Payne) Boots. She married Ronald Whitecotton, Jr. at the Hurst City Park on August 24, 2013. He survives in Herrin.
Heather had worked as a CNA and a cook. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin with Rev. Ralph Brandon officiating. Burial will follow at Herrin City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1-2pm on Tuesday at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin.
