I’m Lloyd Richardson, formerly from Grand Chain, IL and now live in Springfield, IL.

I was a former workmate of Dave’s in the Engineering Construction Management Dept. and also a retiree of the Marion VA. Carl Wohlwend contacted me today about the loss of Dave.

I’m deeply sorry for your family’s loss of Dave.

Dave’s and my desks were side by side in the same room for several years while we managed our separate construction projects for the VA at Marion. We confided with each other about our various construction projects and covered for each other as the need arose.

Dave was always a trusted and knowledgeable co-worker and we could always depend on each other to cover the others backside.

Again, I’m very sorry for your and our loss of Dave.

I fail to mention that I won’t be able to attend the Service for Dave as my wife will be having surgery at that time.
