Cremation does not limit, but in fact increases the options that are available to you. The options for ceremonies prior to or following the cremation can include the selection of a rental or cremation casket or an urn, visitation with the body present or a memorial service where the urn is the focal point.
Cremation with Visitation and Funeral Ceremony
This Cremation service is the same as a Traditional Funeral service but instead of ground burial cremation follows the service. In this particular selection, embalming takes place, there is a selection of the casket or you may choose to use the rental casket, a public visitation is held at the funeral home followed by the funeral service. Following the funeral service cremation takes place and the cremains are then placed in an urn and returned to the family for final disposition whether that is keeping of the cremains at home, scattering, or burial.
