Wayne M. Richardson, Jr.

Herrin- Wayne M. Richardson, Jr., 77, of Herrin, died at 2:05 AM, Wednesday, August 11, 2004 at Herrin Hospital.

Wayne was born on March 16, 1927 in Johnson County to Wayne M. & Ilene Richardson, Sr. He married Betty Lou Clark on March 4, 1946 in Marion. She precedes him in death.

Mr. Richardson was a World War II Navy Veteran. He retired from Ziegler #4 Coal Mine. He was a member of the United Mine Workers of America.

SURVIVORS:

Daughter & son in law- Candra & Ted Harris- Herrin
Three Great Grandchildren:
Shaun Cole- Herrin
Trevor & Racheal Henshaw- Carterville

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and one great grandson; Travis Henshaw.

Visitation will be held Friday, August 13, 2004, from 6:00 PM- 9:00 PM, at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. As per his wishes, his body will be cremated and private family services will be held at a later date.
