Norman A. Strunk

West Frankfort- Norman A. Strunk, 54, of West Frankfort died at 12:35 P.M., Wednesday, June 27, 2001 at his home.

Mr. Strunk was born on January 9, 1947 in Whiteash, IL to Murray \"Bud\" & Blanche (Harris) Strunk.

He worked for West Frankfort Awning and was a skilled ironworker; making railings and staircases for various businesses.

Norman enjoyed traveling, especially to the Smokey Mountains and liked country western and Elvis Presley music.

His parents preceded him in death.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, June 30, 2001, at Maplewood Cemetery in Marion. Rev. Don Emery, pastor of The Rugged Cross Chapel of West Frankfort. Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin is in charge of arrangements.
