Marion-Jessie Lee Lingle, 87, died 3:30 P.M., Thursday, December 19, 2002 at the Hillview Health Care Center in Vienna.

Jessie was born March 20, 1915 in Peabody, Tennessee to Ed & Annie (Hampsy)
Hyden. She married Alma Lingle on July 24, 1934 in Harrisburg, Illinois. He preceded her in death on March 23, 1989.

She was a retired, having worked at the University of Chicago as a Dietician for many years. She was a member of the Scottsboro Church of God. She was also involved with the Daughters of Pythias.

Survivors Include:
One Son: Harvey E. Lingle of Newburgh, WI.

Three Daughters: Reeta Dee Hunt of San Diego, CA.
Brenda Sue Polacek & husband Tony of Hortonville, WI.
Phyllis Jean McGuire & husband Roy of Creal Springs, IL.
Ten Grandchildren
Thirteen Great Grandchildren
One Brother: Virgil Hyden & wife Margie of Alton, IL.
Four Sisters: Peggy Heath & husband Richard of Johnston City, IL.
Connie Lukowski & husband Arthur of Dyer, IN.
Nadine Murrah of Herrin
Betty Murrah & husband Bill of Atlanta, GA.
Two Sister In Laws: Dorothy Hyden of Johnston City, IL.
Evelyn Hyden of Carbondale, IL.
Also survived by several nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Alma Lingle, three brothers, Ralph, Luther & Tom Hyden, and one sister, Mary Hyden.

Funeral services will be 7:00 P.M., Monday, December 23, 2002 at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Hosmon officiating. Entombment will follow at a later date at Lakeview Cemetery in Johnston City.
Friends may call at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home on Monday, December 23, 2002 from 5:00 to 9:00 P.M.
