MICHAEL GOODERMOTE
Herrin - Michael William Goodermote, 49, died at 2:20 p.m. on Tuesday, December 10, 2002 at his home.
He was born November 22, 1953 in Alexander County, Illinois to William "Web" & Mary (Summers) Goodermote.
He married Nancy Jacobs on November 20, 1992 in Murphysboro. Nancy survives.
Michael worked at Allen Industries for 15 years & later worked at Wal-Mart.
He loved to fish, hunt & go camping.

Step-Daughter: Farrah Hayes of Carterville
Step-Son: Jeff Stone & Norma Riley of Herrin
Three Granddaughters: Cortney Michaela Stone of Herrin
Brittany Bush of Herrin
Danielle Bush of Herrin
Three Grandsons: Zac Bush of Herrin
Joshua Bush of Herrin
Hunter Hayes of Carterville
One Sister: Marilyn Melton & husband Jim of Olive Branch, IL.
One Niece: Lisa Melton of Herrin
One Nephew: Ray Melton of St. Louis
Also one great niece & one great nephew survive along with a host of other family & friends.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Friday, December 13, 2002 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Don Colson officiating. Burial will follow at Herrin City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 9:00 p. m. Thursday, December 12, 2002 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin.
