Gertrude L. Hostert


Gertrude L. Hostert, 99, of Marion and formerly of Carnegie, PA, passed away at her daughter�s home on Wednesday, December 11, 2002 at 12:29 P.M.
Gertrude was born in Carnegie, PA on October 23, 1903 to Michael and Gertrude (Wischman) Fisher. They both preceded her in death. Gertrude married Martin Hostert on August 18, 1922 in Carnegie, PA. he passed away on August 13, 1964.
Gertrude was a Homemaker and of Catholic Faith. Survivors include; A son and daughter in law, Arthur and Leona Hostert of Oxford, PA, Three daughters and son in laws; Mary Lou and Michael Amoroso of Marion, Margaret and Harry Verlato of Woodbury, MN, and Gertrude and Jim Grossi of Plainfield, IN, seventeen grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren, two sisters, Frances McLaren and Catherine Kyle, both of Carnegie, PA.
Her parents, husband and a son, Robert Hostert, preceded her in death.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 16, 2002 at the St. Luke�s Catholic Church in Carnegie, PA. at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow at St. Luke�s Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 3:00 until 9:00 P.M. at the Henney Funeral Home in Carnegie, PA. Local arrangements made by Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home.
