William Clyde "Bill" Blades
Herrin- William Clyde �Bill� Blades, 57, of Herrin, passed away at 10:05 AM, Sunday, January 9, 2011 at his home.
Bill was born on January 14, 1953 in Christopher to Bill & Betty (Sanders) Blades. He married Vivian (Connell) Blades on February 10, 2001 in Herrin.
Bill was a US Navy Vietnam veteran who served his country courageously. He was a Christian.

Son- William Blades of Harrisburg
Son- Shawn Blades and wife Penny of Benton
Grandchildren- Gabriel Blades and Isaiah Blades

Step Grandchildren- Alexis Ragsdale, Layla and Braxton Wade of Herrin
Step Grandchildren- Cameron & Brooklyn Damico of Herrin
Sister- Vicky Barron of DeSoto
Brother in law- John Michael Connell of Herrin
Sister in law- Kathy Schumacher and husband Ron of Herrin

He was preceded in death by his father.
A memorial service will be held at Life Church in Marion on Saturday, January 15, 2011. Rev. Kevin Edwards will officiate. Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin is assisting the family with memorial arrangements.
