Verne Chornak
Marion- VERNE CHORNAK, age 96, of Marion, passed away at 2:28am on Sunday, September 5, 2010 at Fountain Nursing Home in Marion.
Verne was born in Franklin County on February 15, 1914, the daughter of Frank and Vernie (Sondor) Chornak.
Survivors include one brother- Frank and Mollie Chornak of Marion.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother- John Chornak, and two sisters- Mary Chandler and Helen Sloan.
As per her wishes, her body will be cremated. The family will hold a private inurnment at a later date at St. Mary�s Cemetery in Royalton. Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements.
