Ella Mae Clark
Marion- Ella Mae Clark, 89, of Marion, passed away at 8:45 PM, Thursday, May 20, 2010 at Parkway Manor in Marion.
Ella Mae was born on May 21, 1920 in Williamson County to Clifton & Ella( Fry) Angel. She married John H. Clark on February 22, 1942 in Cape Girardeau, MO. He preceded her in death on May 29, 2000.
Mrs. Clark was a retired clerk with the United States Postal Service.
Survivors include-
Grandchild- Deborah Clark of Lockport, IL
Grandchild- Edward Clark & wife Christine of Lockport
Great Grandchildren- Payton Grace & Lucas John Clark of Lockport
Sister- Dorothy Clark & husband Art of Tennessee
Sister- Phyllis Gidland & husband Ron of Lamont
Nieces & nephews- Several
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son- John Clark and two sisters- Hazel Moake & Juanita Gearhart.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, May 24, 2010 at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion. Rev. Shorty Alsip will officiate. Burial will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Marion. Visitation will be from 5-8:00 PM, Sunday, May 23, 2010 at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion.
