Clarence Eugene Draper
Herrin- Clarence �Eugene� Draper, 84, of Herrin, passed away at 3:25 AM, Sunday, May 3, 2009 at Herrin Hospital.
Eugene was born on August 5, 1924 in Herrin to Clarence & Lora Francis (Lucy) Draper. He married Lorene Payne on November 10, 1958 in Herando, MS. She survives of Herrin.
Eugene was a commercial contractor and retired after working many years.
Survivors include-
Wife- Lorene Draper of Herrin
Daughter- Kathy Boston & husband David of Herrin
Several nieces & nephews
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers- Hershel & Doyle Draper and one sister- Geraldine Deal.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Rev. Don Colson will officiate. Burial will follow at Herrin City Cemetery in Herrin. Visitation will be from 12 Noon until time of service, Tuesday, at the funeral home.
Memorial donations are suggested to the American Heart Association and will be accepted at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home/ 201 S. 13th St./Herrin, IL.
