Steven Shelton
Marion � Steven Hayden Shelton, 41, died on Saturday, June 30, 2007 at 11:00 P.M. at the Veteran�s Administration Healthcare Center in Pittsburgh, PA.
Steve was born September 30, 1965 to Sam & Linda (Jeter) Shelton in Harvey, Illinois.
He was a member of the 1st Baptist Church and Elks BPOE #800. Steve was stationed in Korea while serving in the U.S. Army.
Anyone who knew Steve loved to be around him. He was the most caring, giving and genuine person you would ever meet. He never met a stranger. Steve could find something funny in anything and constantly kept his family and friends entertained. He will be missed down here by all who loved him. His big smile will never be forgotten!

Funeral services will be Saturday, July 7, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Jim Holderfield officiating. Burial will follow in Cana Cemetery in Creal Springs. Military rites will be presented by Marion�s VFW Post #1301, American Legion Post #147 and members of the National Guard. Visitation will be Friday evening from 5:00 � 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Transplant Unit of the VA Medical Center. Envelopes will be available at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home.
