Avis Romanelli
Energy- AVIS ALYNE ROMANELLI, age 92, of Energy, passed away at 10:55pm on Tuesday, June 27, 2006 at Helia Healthcare in Energy.
Avis was born in Energy, IL on January 12, 1914 to Corum �Churn� and Minnie Lee (Roach) Beltz. She married Francis Victor Romanelli in Chicago on October 15, 1945. He preceded her in death on July 21, 1994.
Mrs. Romanelli was a supervisor at the Oscar Meyer Company in Chicago. She also worked nine years for Pepper Construction in Chicago.
Survivors include-
Nephew (who made his home with Avis)- Joseph Kenneth Beltz- Energy, IL
Half-Sister- Mae Ella Batteau- Oak Hills, CA
Several nieces and nephews
Avis was preceded in death by-

one son-Tharin Elwin Manier
three brothers- Elwin �Whitey� Beltz, George �Moon� Beltz, and Bearl �Meathead� Beltz
one half-sister- Alice Vossel
two nephews- Billy Bearl Beltz and Bennie Lee Beltz
Graveside funeral services for Avis will be held at 10:00am on Friday, June 30, 2006 at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Carterville, with Rev. Todd Hawk officiating. Friends and family are asked to gather directly at the cemetery. Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin is handling arrangements.
