Col. C.D. Fairless
Marion � Col. C.D. Fairless, 94, of Tavernier, FL and Beech Mountain, NC, formerly of Marion, passed away on November 17, 2005 at 12:45 A.M. in Mariner�s Hospital of Tavernier.
C.D. �Dean� was born October 19, 1911 to Wiley Charlton and Nola (Ferrell) Fairless. He married Helen Campbell and together they have shared 55 years of marriage.
Dean retired as an administrator from Miami Dade College. He also served proudly in the United States Air Force, retiring with the rank of colonel. Dean was a past member of the First Christian Church in Marion.

Two Grandchildren � Dean and Kristina

Preceded by � Parents, Brother � Dent Fairless and Three Sisters � Violette Crisp, Vivian Rogers and Velma Vicary.
A memorial service will be held in the spring in Marion for immediate family. Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion will be handling local arrangements.
