William Eugene "Bill" Martin

Marion- William Eugene “Bill” Martin, 64, of Marion, passed away at 4:11 PM, Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. Bill was born on February 10, 1954 in Carbondale to Eugene Oliver and Della Marie (Vaughn) Martin. He married Georgia Marks on January 22, 2017 at Integrity Healthcare Center in Marion. Bill was baptized and a member of Heartland Christian Church in Marion. In his spare time he enjoyed drawing pictures, coloring and watching old westerns on TV. Survivors include- Wife- Georgia Martin of Marion Daughter- Crystal Martin of Texas Grandchild- Beth Close friend- Mike Darter and friends at Integrity of Marion He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at Integrity Healthcare of Marion/ 1301 East DeYoung/ Marion, IL 62959. Pastor Kevin Bonifacius will officiate. Inurnment will follow at Creal Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until time of service Tuesday at Integrity Healthcare. Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home arranged memorial services on behalf of the family.
