William "Bill" Woodworth Adams III

William “Bill” Woodworth Adams III, 68, of Marion, passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2017 at 8:18 am at Liberty Village of Carbondale. Bill was born August 31, 1948 in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, the son of William Woodworth and Elizabeth Viola (Mills) Adams II. He enjoyed playing pool, training horses and traveling to the Rocky Mountains. Bill worked in maintenance for a commercial janitorial company. Survivors include his: Son – Colin Boyd-Adams of Carbondale Companion of 38 years – Jacquelyn Boyd of Marion Sister – Jackie Lily Altman and husband Butch of Mt. Pleasant, Pennsylvania Sister-in-law – Jennifer Boyd of Makanda Nephew – Aaron Cole Niece – Autumn Cole Several Aunts, cousins and good friends Preceded by his Parents. Celebration of Life services will be Sunday, August 13, 2017 from 2 – 4 pm at Marion Center Mall, 1301 Enterprise Way, Marion. Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion assisted the family with arrangements. Memorials are suggested to the family to assist them with memorial expenses.
