Viola Jeanette Banfield

Viola Jeanette Banfield, 86, of Marion, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2017 at 4:47 pm at Heartland Regional Medical Center. Viola was born September 14, 1930 in Bloomfield, Indiana the daughter of George D. & Garcie (Yoho) Gallian. She married William Banfield on April 25, 1947 in Gary, Indiana and together they shared over 61 years of marriage until his death on November 1, 2008. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her; Four children: Ronald Banfield and wife Dianne of Marion Donald Banfield of Herrin Beth Karback and husband Joseph of Pana Matt Banfield and wife Holly of Sullivan, Indiana Six grandchildren; Deanna Forbes and husband Evan of Raleigh Jennifer Stephens and husband Jay of Cumming, Georgia Jena Cutsinger and husband Brian of Pittsburg Emily Lay and husband Keith of Johnston, Iowa Reagan Banfield of Sullivan, Indiana Mackenzie Banfield of Sullivan, Indiana Nine great grandchildren One great great grandchild Several nieces & nephews Preceded by her Parents, Husband – William Banfield, three brothers and two sisters.
