Tracey Lynn Alex

On January 3rd, 2022, Heaven welcomed a very special and beautiful woman, Tracey Lynn Alex nee Miller. A beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and friend to many. Tracey was born in Champaign, Illinois on April 2, 1970 to Larry and Nancy (nee Humes) Vaughn. She graduated Champaign / Urbana High School in 1988. She worked as a Waitress in the Champaign / Urbana area most of her life. She ventured away to a few different states before returning to Illinois. She moved to Southern Illinois three years ago. Tracey LOVED animals and was a genuine "good person". She is loved by many and will be missed by all that knew her.

She is survived by her children, Justin M. (Stephanie) Miller of Carterville, Illinois; Daughter Dannielle L. Martin of Clinton, Mississippi; and a Daughter Megan. Three Grandchildren, Jordan Miller, Aubrey Miller and Kamaria Barnes. Siblings, Larry Vaughn Jr. of Seymour, IL and Cory Miller of Carterville, Illinois.

She was preceeded in death by her parents and a sister April Vaughn.
The family will plan a Celebration of Tracey's Life at a later date in Champaign, Illinois.
Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion, Illinois is assisting the family with arrangements.
