Toni Renee Ladd

Herrin- Toni Renee Ladd, 50, of Herrin, passed away early Sunday, February 26, 2017 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. Toni was born on December 20, 1966 to John Douglas and Janet Faye (Lavender) Ansinelli. She currently worked as a CNA at Herrin Hospital, but she styled hair for many years as a beautician at Sarah’s Hair Salon in Herrin. Toni was of protestant faith. She was a kind hearted, genuine woman with an infectious smile and a laugh that would brighten a room. She enjoyed warm days, cruising in her jeep with the top down and walking barefoot on the beach. Her greatest joy however was caring for people and spending time with her precious grandchildren. Survivors include- Parents- John and Janet Ansinelli of Herrin Toni was formerly married to William Ladd of Herrin and that union produced three wonderful sons: Nicholas Allan Ladd of Herrin Trenton Allan Ladd of Herrin John William Ladd of Herrin 2 grandchildren which were her pride and joy- Izzabella and Axton of Herrin Sister- Deborah Patton and husband Tony of Perryville, MD Sister- Katherine Gibson and husband Mark of Herrin Sister- Valarie Fountain and husband Joe of Milton, FL Many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and many close friends Her beloved dog- “Bindi Sue” She was preceded in death by her grandparents. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, March 3, 2017 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Rev. Jason McKinnies will officiate. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin.
