Steven O'Neil Ginn

Makanda Steven ONeil Ginn, 49, died Monday, February 21, 2005 at 8:30 P.M. at his residence. Steven was born December 26, 1955 in Peoria, Illinois to Clarence ONeil and Mildred Marie (Derby) Ginn. He married Carla Sue (Handkins) Ginn on July 13, 2002 in Tazwell County and she survives in Makanda. Steven was a sewer treatment plant operator in Decatur. He attended Lone Oak Baptist Church. Steven is survived by: Wife Carla of Makanda Two sons: Steven ONeil Ginn, Jr. of Taylorville, IL Christian ONeil Ginn of Makanda One Daughter: Krista Lynn Davis of Little Rock, AR Two Step-Daughters: April & Mike Mullins of East Peoria Nicole Poole of Little Rock, AR Three Step Grandchildren Three Brothers: Keith & Erin Ginn of Harrisburg Douglas Leroy & Kimberly Ginn of Washington, IL Michael David & Christina Ginn of Washington, IL Several nieces and nephews Preceded by: Parents Funeral services will be Friday, February 25, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion with Dr. Edward Handkins officiating. Burial will follow in New Salem Cemetery in Creal Springs. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home. For those who prefer memorials may be given to his sons education fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
