Steve Wyatt

Herrin- Steve Wyatt, age 75, of Herrin, passed away at 9:10am on Monday, November 27, 2017 at his home in Herrin. Steve was born on July 7, 1942, the son of Meredith and Juanita (Agden) Wyatt. Prior to this retirement, Steve was the owner of the Fairway Golf Course in Marion.  He was a member of the Herrin First Baptist Church. Steve was a proud United States Army veteran, having served in the Vietnam war. Survivors include his sister- Judy (Wyatt) Holt of Charles Town, West Virginia Three Nephews- Jeffrey Holt of Frederick, Maryland Bradley and Karen Holt of Springfield, Virginia Kevin and Mary Holt of Gaithersburg, Maryland He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, December 1, 2017 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin with Rev. Brad Harlow officiating.  Burial will follow at Herrin City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-7pm on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to John Hopkins Lyme Disease Research Center.
