Sandra "Sandy" Kay Eiskant

Sandra Kay Eiskant, age 72, resided at Our Directions of Marion, Illinois, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion.  

Sandy was born in East St. Louis on October 10, 1947, the daughter of Kenneth Eiskant and Thelma (Timper) Ungard. Sandy as she liked to be called was of Catholic faith.

She enjoyed dressing up, wearing jewelry, make-up, getting her hair done and nails painted. She loved coffee and Hershey bars or kisses (a tradition with her father that carried on). She enjoyed being outdoors and would choose to sit in the swing. She was a lady with many expressions including a devious smile.

She will be dearly missed by her 7 close friends: Tony, Carol, Doug, Mauretta, James, Cindy and Delbert, along with many other companions and staff at Our Directions.

She is survived by: Jean Fisher, Sister (Benld, IL)

                          Martha Nagy, Sister (Granite City, IL)

                          Mary Moran, Sister (O’Fallon, IL)

                          Renie (Anthony) Skalnican, Sister (Madison, IL)

                          Kenneth (Diana) Eiskant, Brother (Saint Jacob, IL)

Along with several nieces and nephews.

Proceeded in death by her parents and 1 sister JoAnn Eiskant.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Our Directions and will be accepted by Johnson Hughes Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
