Sandra Kay Crain

Sandra Kay Crain, 56, passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at 5:53 pm at Union County Hospital in Anna.

Sandra was born January 1, 1964 the daughter of Eldon and Wanda (Followell) Bangs in Benton. 

Sandra is survived by three daughters – Rachel Crain of Marion, Sarah Crain of Carterville and Starlairra Taylor of Carbondale; son William Michael Crain of Carterville; two granddaughters plus one on the way and one grandson.  Two sisters Linda Mays of Carbondale, Patricia Bangs of Florida; two brothers Lawerence Bangs of Herrin, Luther Bangs of Marion and several nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Preceded by her parents, infant twin sons Anthony and Nathan

DUE TO HEALTH CONCERNS RELATED TO THE COVID-19 VIRUS AND BY THE SIGNING OF EXECUTIVE ORDER BY GOVERNOR J.B. PRITZKER, private visitation and funeral services will be held at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home. Burial will be in Willowrest Cemetery in Carterville.
