Ronald Ryan Shepard

Ronald Ryan Shepard, age 48, of Creal Springs, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2024.

Ron was born June 26, 1975 in Joilet, Illinois, a son of Ronald E. and Janet I. (Saxelin) Shepard. He grew up in Peotone, IL where he graduated high school. He had attended the University of Wisconsin.. He had worked several jobs in the Agriculture Industry and had a life long passion for cattle and farming. Ron's personality impacted every person he met and he never met a stranger. He was known for helping anyone he could and donating to several different charitable causes. He collected John Deere tractors and was President of Patriot's Tractor and Car Show at the Creal Springs VFW.

He married the love of his life, Tiffany Anne Haremski on May 22, 2020 in Creal Springs, IL. Ron loved his family and all of his many friends.

He is survived by his wife Tiffany A. Shepard of Creal Springs, IL; five children, Haley Shepard of Ocala, FL, Ryan Shepard of Gainsville, FL, David Shepard of Creal Springs, IL, Lydia Shepard of Creal Springs, IL, and Josiah Shepard of Creal Springs, IL; his father, Ronald Eugene Shepard of Pittsburg, IL; two siblings, Daniel Shepard of Creal Springs, IL and Patricia Shepard of Marion, IL; and his many nieces & nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother, Janet Irene Shepard.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, April 27, 2024 from 1 - 5 pm at the Creal Springs VFW. Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements.
