Robert C. "Bobby" Mausey, Jr.Robert C. “Bobby” Mausey, Jr. 85, of Creal Springs went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 10:07 pm at Harrisburg Medical Center surrounded by his family. Bobby was born September 25, 1930 in Pittsburg the son of Robert and Nell (Dorris) Mausey. He married Dola Doss on July 29, 1949 and together they have been blessed with over 66 years of marriage. He was a member of the Arnold View Free Will Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon for over 27 years. He attended Arnold View Grade School and graduated from Crab Orchard High School. He served as a precinct committeeman and 12 years as a board member for the Crab Orchard School District. Bobby worked at LB Price Mercantile, Marion Federal Penitentiary, Investors Diversified Services, and retired from the Brushy Creek Coal Mine. Bobby and Dola loved to fish and camp at Rend Lake with family members. In addition to his wife, Dola, he is survived by his;Three children; Terry Mausey and wife Sandra of McMinnville, Tennessee Marsha Agin and husband Jim of Raleigh Marilyn Warner and husband Jim of Creal Springs Nine grandchildren; Charles Mausey (Angie) Jason Agin (April) Amanda Brown (Adam) Justin Warner (Caroline) Clint Warner (Kaitlyn) Nick Warner (Erika) Crystal Smith Dustin Mausey (Melissa) Travis Mausey Eleven great grandchildren; Isabella Tidwell, Jeremiah Warner, Alivia Warner, Samuel Warner, Jayda Smith, James and Wesley Smith, Liam Mausey, Lilianna Mausey, Skye Mausey, Rory Agin Brother – Gale Mausey and wife Melba of Creal Springs Brother – C.W. Mausey and wife Colleen of Creal Springs Brother – Lowell Mausey and wife Rose of Creal Springs Brother-in-law – Wayne Doss and wife Hazel of Creal Springs Brother-in-law – Furnan Doss, Jr. and wife Colene of Marion Sister-in-law – Karen Jones and husband Larry of Marion Sister-in-law – Janet Orr and husband Kenny of Creal Springs Sister-in-law – Geraldine Doss of Marion Several nieces and nephews Preceded by his Parents, brother-in-law – John Doss Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at 11 am at Arnold View Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Ivan Ryan officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5 – 8 pm at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home and from 10 am until the time of service on Wednesday at the church. For those who prefer memorials may be made to the Arnold View Free Will Baptist Church or the Alzheimer’s Association. Envelopes will be available and accepted at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home, 800 North Market Street, Marion, Illinois 62959 and at the church on the day of the service.
