Raymond Lee Tartt

Herrin- Raymond Lee Tartt, age 72, of Herrin, passed away at 8:34am on Friday, August 11, 2017 at Herrin Hospital. Raymond was born in Missouri on May 5, 1945, the son of Sue and Louis Tartt, Sr. He married Lisa Tartt in Herrin on October 28, 1994. She survives in Herrin. Prior to his retirement, Ray worked as a semi-truck driver. He proudly served in the United States Navy. Survivors include his wife- Lisa Tartt of Herrin Son- David Tartt of Herrin Son- Wesley Tartt of Marion Brother- Louis Tartt, Jr of Bowling Green, KY Brother- Norman Tartt of Chicago Sister- Robin Hughes of Bowling Green, KY He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother- Ricky Tartt. Ray will be cremated. There will be no services at this time. Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin is assisting the family with his final wishes.
