Ramona Faye Cooley, 90, of Johnson City, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2020 at 4:05 pm. at her home.
Ramona was born June 28, 1929 the daughter of Roy Harold and Florence Helen Lucille (Summers) Hall. She married Phillip Henry Cooley on September 25, 1945 in the county courthouse in Champaign. He preceded her in death on March 28, 1984.
She was a member of 3rd Baptist Church of Marion. Ramona enjoyed spending her free time bowling, with Campers on Mission and the Senior Center Quilters group. She was a seamstress, specializing in making graduation cap and gowns.

Son – Terry Cooley (Karrie) of Weldon
Daughter – Sondra McKenzie (Sonny) of Johnston City
Son – John Cooley of Lebanon, Kentucky
Son – Roy Faron Cooley (Gwen) of Clarksville, Tennessee

Preceded by her Parents, Husband – Phillip Henry Cooley, infant son – Kenneth Daniel Cooley, daughter – Loretta Sue Funk, granddaughter – Mistee Newman, sister – Joyce Carter, brothers – Julian Hall, Stephen Hall and niece – Lori Carter-Shafer.
Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Maion is assisting the family with memorial services, which will be held at a later date. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Urbana.
