Pearl Margaret White

February 25, 1925 — August 18, 2020

Herrin- Pearl Margaret White, age 95, of Herrin, passed away at 9:20pm on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at Mount Vernon Health Care Center.

Pearl was born in Chippewa County, Michigan on February 25, 1925, the daughter of Wesley L. and Margaret (Holton) Cameron. She married Aaron E. White in Lansing, Michigan on February 6, 1947. He preceded her in death.

Mrs. White was a homemaker. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Herrin.

Survivors include her sister- Violet Charkoski of Bradenton, Florida

Friend and Caregiver- Robert “Bob” Baize of Herrin

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother- Harold Cameron, and two sisters- Olive Hazen and Shirley Lehman.

Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Monday, August 24, 2020 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin with Pastor Josh Wehrmeier officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Sesser. A time of visitation will be held from 11am until 1pm on Monday, August 24, 2020 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin.

For those who prefer, memorial donations may be made to the Herrin Second Baptist Church.
