Pearl Hendrick

Pearl Hendrick, age 84, died Monday, April 30th at 2:10 P.M. at her residence in Marion. Visitation for Mrs. Hendrick was from 5:00-9:00 on Wednesday, May 2nd at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion. The funeral service was at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, with the Rev. Gary Wheaton officiating. Burial followed in Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion. Memorials may be given to TIP Hospice. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Mrs. Hendrick was born April 23, 1917 in Williamson County, Illinois, to Orb and Minnie Tanner. Both parents preceded her in death.She married Frank Hendrick, Jr. on September 3, 1937 in McCracken County, Kentucky. He survives of Marion. Survivors include the following: 1 Daughter & Son-in-law, Judy & Charles Stephenson of Marion 1 Son & Daughter-in-law, Jack D. & Judy Hendrick of Salem, IL 3 Grandchildren: Bryann Stephenson of Marion Aimee Nix of Odin Joanna Spradlin of OFallon 3 Great-Grandchildren 1 Brother: Paul Tanner of Columbus, Ohio 2 Sisters: Irene Legereit & Delores Jordan of Energy, IL She was preceded in death by three sisters: Gladys Rector, Marguerite Odum and Maxine Myers. Mrs. Hendrick was a homemaker. She was a member of Otis Street Pentecostal Church.
