Mildred V. James

Mildred Virginia James, 83, of Marion, passed away at 12:37 AM, Sunday, October 14, 2018 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. Mildred was born on February 11, 1935 in Williamson County to Claude and Fern (Talley) James. She was an educated and hardworking woman who spent 30 years working at Intermatic as Lead Lady; manufacturing timers and lights. She was Baptist. Mildred led a quiet life and enjoyed time travelling to various places, especially Las Vegas. Survivors include- Sister- Narcissa Casillas of Las Vegas, NV Sister- Frances Baker and husband Charles of Lake of Egypt Brother- Charles James of Marion Several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers- William and J.C. James and one sister- Claudine Sloan. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion. Rev. Kevin McNeely will officiate. Burial will follow at Grange Hall Cemetery south of Marion. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until time of service, Wednesday at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home.
