Michael O'Neill

Michael O’Neill, 83, of Harrisburg, formerly of Creal Springs, passed away on April 17, 2019 at 8:25 pm at the Shawnee Rose Care Center.

Michael was born August 3, 1935 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin the son of Edward and Marion (Martin) O’Neill. He married Darla Violett on December 16, 1972 in Creal Springs and together they were blessed to have shared almost 26 years of marriage until her death on November 13, 1998.

Survivors include his; Niece – Maureen Hart Niece – Kerry Carrasco Nephew – Kurt Willms Preceded by his Parents, Wife – Darla and Sister – Patricia Willms

Graveside services will be Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at 10 am at Maplewood Cemetery with Dr. Bob Wagner officiating. Military rites will be presented by members of the Marion VFW Post #1301, American Legion Post #147 and Navy Detail Unit. Family and friends are asked to meet directly at the cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 4 – 6 pm at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home.
