Merlin Gene Farmer

Herrin- Merlin Gene Farmer, age 64, of Herrin, passed away on November 6, 2019 at Herrin Hospital.

Merlin was born in Herrin on May 7, 1955, the son of Homer Gene and Norma Dean (Jones) Farmer.  He had worked as a computer animator.

Survivors include-

Daughter- Jessica Lynn of Carbondale

Daughter- Gena Rose Farmer of Carterville

Son- M.G. Farmer of Colorado

Granddaughter- Charlotte Huskey of Carbondale

Sister- Michelle Isaacs of Carterville

Sister- Georgia Koch of Italy

Brother- Paul Koch of Alton

Sister- Rhonda Thomas of Texas

Sister- Micki Ellett of Cambria

Brother- Lee Kay of Pittsburg

As per his wishes, he will be cremated. The family will hold a candlelight vigil on Sunday, November 24th 2019, at 7:00 P.M. at PK's Bar (Adult Only Venue) in Carbondale, Illinois . Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin is assisting the family with arrangements.
