Mary Margaret "Midge" Jearlds

Mary Margaret "Midge" Jearlds, age 88, of Marion, Illinois,  passed away Monday, December 26, 2022 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion, Illinois.

Mary was born November 04, 1934 in Marion, Illinois, a daughter of Dave and Myrtle (Pressley)  Clendenin. She married the love of her life, Aseugene Jearlds on August 18, 1951 in Marion, IL. He preceded her in death. Prior to her retirement, Mary had worked as a personal caregiver. She always had a smile and will be dearly missed by all those that knew and loved her. 

Midge was a member of the Community Chapel Church. 

She is survived by five children, Tim Jearlds (Sherri), Glenda (Bill Bratten) Pennell, Karen Norris (Harvey), Debbie Short (Clark), and Donna Mullins; ten grandchildren, Robert (Jennifer) Pennell, Scott Norris, Patsy Norris, Loretta (Marty) Fairless, Amy (Ronnie) Thorn, David Short, Amanda (Robert) Jeralds, Justin Mullins, Andrea (Clayton) Roland, and Brittany (Robbie) Howell; one brother, Cecil Clendenin; fifteen great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and a host of many friends and extended family members.
  
She is preceded in death by her spouse Aseugene Jearlds; her parents, Dave H. and Myrtle Clendenin; two sisters, Nancy Steele and Neva Hamel; and six brothers, Joe, Dee, Theodore, Bob, Paul, and Roy Clendenin.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 28th, 2022 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, December 29, 2022, 11:00 AM at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Don Colson and Rev. Clark "Butch" Short officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion.
