Marsha Lee Krivanko

Marsha Lee Krivanko, age 67, of Marion, Illinois,  passed away suddenly on Friday, May 27, 2022 at her home in Marion, Illinois.

Marsha was born October 17, 1957 in Marion, Illinois, a daughter of James and Jessie (Travelstead) Key.  Marsha grew up in Marion and was a 1972 graduate of Marion High School.  After her marriage to Dennis Krivanko,  she was a stay-at-home mom while her daughter grew up.  She then worked at Maytag in Herrin for 30 years.  When the plant closed, she worked at Wal-Mart in Marion for 10 years.  Marsha loved being outdoors, taking nature walks and riding her bicycle.  She enjoyed bowling and loved her pets.  She also enjoyed attending her grandsons sporting events.  Marsha was always happy and had a contagious smile.  She was of the Christian Faith.     

She is survived by one daughter, Amber L. Krivanko of Marion, IL; one grandchild, Collin L. Krivanko of West Frankfort, IL; and two siblings, JoAnn (Greg) Lambert of Marion, IL and Jim Key of Johnston City, IL.  She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Jessie Key.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at 10 am at Rose Hill Cemetery.  Family and friends are asked to meet there directly.  Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements.

My thoughts and prayers are with you Amber. Your Mom and I grew up together in church and after we were both married Wes and I ran around with your Mom and Dad. You and Eugene left quite a few messes at restaurants in your high chairs, such good memories. Please let me know if you need anything! 💔
