Marlene Bondioli

Herrin- Marlene Bondioli, 65, of Herrin, passed away at 7:07 PM, Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. Marlene was born on November 4, 1952 in Chicago to Jerry G. and Emeline N. (Leatherberry) Bondioli. She worked at Our Directions in Herrin. In her spare time she enjoyed puzzles, watching sports events and competing in bowling at the Special Olympics. Survivors include- Brother- Peter Bondioli and wife Mary of Herrin Nephew- Kevin Frost and wife Jennifer of Herrin Niece- Sara Bondioli and husband Erich Streckfuss of Washington, DC Great Nephew and niece- Nolen Frost and Lola Frost of Herrin Her “Our Direction’s “Family She was preceded in death by her parents. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, June 1, 2018 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Herrin. Fr. Joe Rascher, Pastor of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Trenton will officiate. Burial will follow at San Carlo Cemetery in Herrin. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM, Friday, June 1, 2018 in the gathering room of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Herrin. Funeral arrangements were made at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin.
