Marilyn Sue Browning

Marion- Marilyn Sue Browning, age 83, of Marion, passed away at 12:45am on Friday, May 10, 2019 at the Linda White Hospice House in Evansville, Indiana.

Marilyn was born in Marion on April 30, 1936, the daughter of William Fisher and Verdie (Browning) Clendenin. She married Ronald G. Browning at the Scottsboro Baptist Church in Marion on December 21, 1956. He preceded her in death on April 28, 1992. 

Prior to her retirement, Marilyn had worked as a secretary for the Department of Agriculture for more than forty-one years. 

Survivors include:

Son and daughter-in-law- Dennis G. and Margaret Browning of St. Louis, MO

Daughter- Darla S. Browning of Marion

Granddaughter- Laney Jo McCrary of Marion

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held from 11-1pm on Wednesday at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion.
