Lois Jean Umbarger

Bush- Lois Jean Umbarger, age 87, of Bush, went home to be with her Lord, at 3:30pm on Tuesday, April 14, 2020.

Lois was born in Bush on December 15, 1932 and raised the daughter of James and Myral (Hargraves) Housewright. 

Lois was a God-fearing woman, of Christian faith, who loved her Lord. She enjoyed her Cardinal Baseball and Elvis music.

Son and daughter-in-law- Mike and Dawn Umbarger of Herrin

Six grandchildren- Aaron Amann of DuQuoin

     Teryn and Cody Carmon of Benton

     Taylor Rorer of Johnston City

     April and Dusty Oetjen of Carterville

     Christina and Randy Rindfuss of Goreville

     Jessica Poore of Herrin

Eight Great Grandchildren- Aubree, Harley, and Abel Carmon

     Liam Oetjen

     Abigail, Emma, Lincoln, and Charlotte Rindfuss

Numerous Cousins

DUE TO HEALTH CONCERNS RELATED TO THE COVID-19 VIRUS AND BY THE SIGNING OF EXECUTIVE ORDER BY GOVERNOR J.B. PRITZKER, private graveside services will be held at Blairsville Cemetery. Celebration of Life services will be held at a later date. Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin is assisting the family with final arrangements.
