Linda F. Vinyard

Marion- Linda F. Vinyard, age 69, of Marion, passed away at 4:17pm on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis. Linda was born in Benton on September 2, 1947, the daughter of Ray E. and Helen (Gostowski) Poole. She married Kevin Vinyard in Sturgis, Kentucky on April 9, 1988. He survives in Marion. Mrs. Vinyard was a member of the Third Baptist Church of Marion.  She had retired from One Main Financial in Marion. Survivors include her husband- Kevin Vinyard of Marion Two daughters- Michele Bartels and Mike Nason of Carbondale Patti and Carl Orlovich of Marion Mother- Helen Poole of Benton Five grandchildren- Cody Dawson of Marion Aaron Bartels of Herrin Dylan Dawson of Marion Carley Orlovich of Marion Sloan Orlovich of Marion Two brothers- Larry and Gail Poole of Benton Steve and Kim Poole of Gainsville, FL Two sisters- Carolyn and Roy Riffel of Royalton Gayla and Brad Woodcock of Bluford Several nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by her father- Ray E. Poole. As per her wishes, she will be cremated. The family will hold a celebration of life service at a later date. Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with final arrangements.
