Landen Christianallen Gunter

Landen Christianallen Gunter, age 20, of Fredericktown, Missouri, passed away Monday, March 4, 2024 at Saint Louis University Hospital in Saint Louis, Missouri.

Landen was born November 24, 2003 in Marion, Illinois, a son of Gary Gunter and Tiffany Reichert (Simmons). Landen moved to Perryville, MO at a young age and grew up there and attended school. While in High School he played football and soccer and was a member of FFA. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and riding his 4 wheeler. He always referred to himself as a "Good Ol Country Boy"

He is survived by one son, Paxton Carrothers of Duquoin, IL; his parents, Gary Gunter of Marion, IL and Tiffany R. (Jason) Reichert of Fredericktown, MO; five siblings, Taylor Reichert, Logen Gunter, Laken Morse, Lillien Simmons, and Kiara Adamson; his Maternal Grandfather, Tim (Betsy) Simmons of Marion, IL, and Maternal Grandmother Carmen Renaud of Goreville, IL. He is preceded in death by his Paternal Grandfather, Larry Dean Gunter, and Paternal Grandmother Edithe Louise (Danny) Williams.

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 12th, 2024 from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM at the Spillertown Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 12, 2024, 11:00 AM at Spillertown Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Shea officiating. Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements.
