Carterville- Kathy Lee (South) Allsbrook, age 65, of Carterville, passed away at 1:10am on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at her home. Kathy was born in Williamson County on January 25, 1952, the daughter of Theodore McKinley "Johnny" and Jenetta "Jewel" (Sutton) South. She married Michael Allsbrook in Herrin on New Years Eve of 2010. He survives in Carterville. Survivors include her son- David and Katie Campbell of Marion Daughter- Melissa and Aaron Campbell of Johnston City Step-Daughter- LeAnn and Brandon Houle of Arkansas Two grandchildren- Molly and Leah Campbell of Marion Step-Granddaughter- Krysta James Houle of Arkansas Brother- Gary South of Marion She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters- Annette Jennings, Ida and Alta South, and one brother- Lawrence South. Memorial services will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin with Rev. Don Colson officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 12:00pm-2:00pm on Saturday at the funeral home. Inurnment will take place at Egyptian Memorial Gardens at 1:00pm on Monday, June 26, 2017.
