June Kirk

Dorothy June Kirk, 89, of Marion, passed away on Sunday, July 8, 2018 at 1:50 am. June was born July 26, 1928 in Herrin the daughter of Willard and Rhoda (Haynes) Stone. She married William Edward Kirk on July 17, 1952 in Clay County, Arkansas and together they shared over 34 years of marriage. She was a former business owner and jewelry associate.  June was the world's best cook and homemaker. Survivors include her; Daughter – Donna Gail Draper of Marion Daughter – Billie Spooner of Energy Two grandchildren; Riki Redfearn Shawn Vaughn Sister – Dorthella “Pete” McPhail of Missouri Her beloved cat – Crackers Preceded by her Parents, Husband, Sister – Lillian Finney, Infant Brother – William Oran Stone. Funeral services will be Friday, July 13, 2018 at 1 pm at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Andy Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Egyptian Memorial Gardens Cemetery.  Visitation will be Friday from 10 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
